Off-site document shredding
We make shredding painless for you. Our bonded and insured crews will pick up your confidential documents anywhere in the Chicago area, and transport them securely to our records center and shred your paper at reasonable prices. You receive a certificate of destruction to prove compliance with document disposal requirements

Ongoing Shredding Services
For medical, legal, accounting or any business that regularly shreds documents, Access provides an economical and simple alternative to shredding in the office. We place attractive, locked document consoles or recycling containers in your offices to collect documents for shredding. Document collection is simple and convenient - there's no need to sort paper or remove staples, clips or binders. Our pick up service costs less than you pay your staff to shred documents using a standard office shredder. You free your staff to perform value added service for your clients. Eliminate noise, dust, and busy work.

Regulatory requirements

Why shred? It's the law!

Federal law requires businesses, financial firms, and health care providers to protect customer, client, and patient information. As of June 2005, under the FACTA law, businesses

"that posses consumer information for a business purpose must properly dispose of such information. Examples include burning, pulverizing, or shredding papers containing consumer information, or destroying or erasing electronic media containing such information" - Congressional Research Service Feb 3, 2005.

Access will help you understand and comply with the laws that apply to your business or profession:
